Caveats below reviewed against Rackspace's docs on August 6, 2026.

  • Timestamp. Prices are Rackspace's published snapshot at the moment shown above — the feed refreshes continuously, and auction prices move whenever bids do. What you see here can lag the market by minutes; the console shows the price that actually binds your bid.
  • Percentiles. p20/p50/p80 are Rackspace's published price percentiles over its recent sampling window. Rough bid guidance: a standing bid at the p80 level would have kept your node through ~80% of that window; bidding the bare market price wins now but gets preempted at the next uptick.
  • Floor. As of a July 2026 pricing change, new bids floor at $0.01/hr, rounded to fixed steps ($0.01 increments up to $0.04/hr, $0.02 up to $0.10/hr, $0.03 up to $0.20/hr, $0.05 above that). That's a floor on new bids only — bids placed before the change keep running below $0.01/hr, so the market-clearing prices above can still show under a cent. Rackspace's own pricing page hasn't caught up to this yet as of this writing; trust the changelog over its marketing copy.
  • Source. This page reads Rackspace's public pricing object directly from your browser (the same data the Spot console's pricing page uses; it's also referenced by their official Go SDK). No affiliation with Rackspace — verify in the Spot console before relying on a number.
  • Bare metal is excluded — Rackspace no longer provisions the bare-metal classes, so only virtual server classes are shown.
